I am Sunaina, I am from Kurukshetra. I come from a family of five which comprises of my grandfather, my parents and my brother and I. I would like to introduce you to three facets of my personality. First is the academic one I am a computer science engineer and now I am pursuing MBA, I have performed considerably well throughout proving my mettle in various quizzing competitions time and again.Second is personal front, as a person I am empathetic, compassionate and enthusiastic. Third aspect is my interests, so I have a keen interest in reading self help books. I also love reading Urdu couplets, the beauty of these couplets never fails to mesmerise me.

2. Why MBA?

I always believed doing an MBA will help me in blending all the three facets of my personality i.e. the analytical engineer, the people's person, the art enthusiast. It is making me better prepared for all the things I am willing to pursue in my life. B-school is a place where you can unlearn and learn, where you are allowed to make mistakes. It is basically acting as a simulated environment where I see class as my workplace, teachers as my bosses, and my peers as teammates. Everyday I am becoming a better team player here as I work on group projects and assignments, everyday in class when I get to hear starkly different views based on relevant experiences my thought process gets enriched and my outlook becomes broader. Every morning when I open my mailbox to find a stream of information, I am learning to filter out noise and prioritise things.

3. What are your short term and long term professional goals?

Short term professional goal is to get equipped with the skill set required to take on the challenges, I am going to face in my career. First and foremost goal therefore, is to get the domain and functional knowledge of how things work. Second is to work with experienced people and gain valuable insights from their expertise. Long term professional goal is to give a direction to my company by shouldering greater responsibilities.

4. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

My strengths are good communication skills, learning attitude, analytical skills.

My weakness is that I don't have substantial knowledge of commerce domain.

5. Why should we hire you?

You should hire me becauseI am very adaptable, with my social skills and learning attitude there are no constants. I bring a perfect blend of skills to your table. I am very good at numbers, right from the foundation years I feel this natural affinity towards numbers. Moreover I have that analytical bend to my thought process where I genuinely tend to analyse trends to come up to some valuable conclusions. When I was doing my college project of developing a website, there I needed to come up with a browsing algorithm which makes the search process most efficient both in terms of server space occupied and time consumed so I analysed the figures in depth and depth and came up with an algorithm which was most efficient in terms of space and time complexities.

I possess good communication skills, and I can say so because I feel I can present my ideas in a lucid and granular fashion which makes me get across very clearly. I articulate things well, my letters have been published in "letters to editor" section of The Hindu twice and I was also a finalist in Science Essay writing competition organised by Haryana State Council for Science and Technology.

6. Why did you not pursue your hobbies as a career option?

Teaching, is something which I consider as a noble profession and I would love to pursue it out of compassion even if I work in corporate world, this way I will not miss out on any of my major interests. Whereas I bake because I have a sweet tooth and I love cakes. I do it to as a stress buster not something which will give me economic benefits. And reading is my other hobby which will help me wherever I go in my life, as it is something which makes your grey matter fertile so that you end up harvesting bountiful yield of healthy thoughts.

7. Do you think only MBAs can do managerial work?
