Paintballing

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to shoot someone or get shot, but you were too scared to because of what the consequences might be? Well, imagine this. You're all by yourself, out in the middle of the woods, and everyone you thought that would survive didn't. You're alone, alone with the enemy. The only thing you have to protect yourself is your paintball gun and 200 paintballs. You breathe deeply just waiting there, your goggles start to fog up, and you're getting scared now. Suddenly, you hear a twig snap. You go crazy because you can't see. You wipe the fog away. You see that you're surrounded by the enemy, and you have nowhere to go except right through them. You tighten the grip on the gun, take a deep breath, and charge. Yeah, you might not make it out, the odds are against you. So, the question is, are you up for the challenge? There are two main reasons why you should paintball: paintball isn't dangerous and paintball has certain rules you need to follow so it is safe for you and everyone else.

Paintball isn't dangerous. There is special equipment you have to wear to keep you safe. For instance, you have face masks. Since 32% of the people who play paintball get shot in the head region, this is the reason you wear a face mask (pb review). There are also chest protectors, but some people call them sissy vests. Since paintball is a game that requires a high pain tolerance, chest protectors let those with a low pain tolerance play. Very few people have been injured playing paintball. "There are only .31% injuries yearly per 1000 participants, that's less that any other sport out there" (ukpsf). Some people are worried about paintballs leaving welts. They do leave welts, but they are only visible for about two days, then they disappear.

If you want to play paintball, there are certain rules you have to abide by. Different fields have certain aspects. For instance, your gun must have a barrel plug in the barrel when you are not playing and you are in an area with a lot of people.
