Executive Summary

The history of the business which is discussed here stems from the fact that today due to ever increasing living standards of the people and due to tight schedules, there is a growing need to keep an eye on the health of the individuals and everyone today relies on some external agency which can handle it in an efficient way. We are talking here of a Consulting firm, an agency which is intended to provide such service to its clients. The client has to share his disease with the consultant and has to brief him about the various precautions and the medicines that he would be wanting regularly. From here on, the agency takes care of him, by giving him regular alerts through various mediums like SMS, Emails etc. The edge in this business is the low cost and efficient management of the clients and excellent services. It is totally a service based business and there won't be any products to sell at this point of time. The financing required in this is for mainly three areas i.e. website or customer interface building, Contacting with doctors and building up a network with the same, venturing with some of the big multinational companies who are in telecom sector and also companies who operate in internet for sending alerts to the customers.

At this stage there is no point in calculating the capital required as it will purely be based upon the amateur experience. The Consulting, in starting will be restricted in giving advices to patients who are suffering from common diseases like Diabetes, High blood pressure etc. and will go on captivating other diseases also. This business can also be thought of as an insurance business where in the patient will have to pay the yearly amount, which would be very much affordable and he can reap the benefits till the time he likes to. The agency, in order to reach to a fragmented patients have to be carried out through a website where in there would be facilities for having individual password protected accounts where they can securely keep their information and at the same time get consultation by the doctors which the firm employs.

The firm would focus initially in providing only the alerts and would help the patient to keep abreast with the schedule. After, when it takes off and according to the response that it gets, it can venture into a fully fledged medical consulting firm providing end to end solutions to the customer. Apart from providing alerts to the people the firm would strive to keep updating the needs and wants of the patients and would also try to involve them in other activities which may seem recreational etc. to them.
