Orbiting around the Earth is a lot different that you'd believe. Out one window you can see every small detail of the Earth, and out another it would be pitch black if it wasn't for the twinkling stars in the distance. The stars might be my favorite part of space, you haven't really seen a star until you are six feet under one.

Other than the stars, it is so amazing to look down on Earth. It's surprising how much detail you can see. If I didn't know any better, I'd think my windows were painted. I could see the Nile River, and it was amazing. I know it looks much better from space, even though I haven't even been there. It made me want to go to The Nile though, just to compare. To see if it looked as good from below as it did from a Bird's Eye view.

There is one more thing that stuck out in my mind, the Great Wall of China. There is a lot of controversy about whether you can see it or not, but I say you can. I could see the detail in some parts, the length was so vast. It took up a lot of space. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was so obvious it was there. If you couldn't see it, I am afraid you must be blind.

Floating through space is like swimming in a sea without water. Flipping, twisting, twirling in the emptiness is like drifting into the depths of something you had once only been able to imagine. The air around you feels so free, and all the restraints put on you by gravity are lifted as the night accepts your wish to fly into emptiness, the emptiness that happened when the sun went down.

I can't really say the sun went down, but it was on the other side of the Earth. It was so dark when that happened. You couldn't tell what was what. It was confusing, but I found that to be the perfect time to sleep. When you weren't sure which way was up or down.

My time in space was phenomenal. I don't think it's possible for someone to understand
