We were asked to create our version of the bill of rights.

THE BILL OF RIGHTS

Amendments 1-10 of the Constitution

Amendment I

Altador is a democratic state governed by the rule of law, in which the citizens' rights and freedoms, political pluralism and justice, the free development of human personality represent supreme values and shall be guaranteed, without any discrimination on account of nationality, race, ethnic origin, religion, language, sex, political adherence or social origin.

Amendment II

Access to a public office, military or civil, is granted to persons whose citizenship is only and exclusively Altadorian, and whose is a resident of Altador.

Amendment III

The right to life, as well as the right to personal liberty, namely to corporal and mental integrity and freedom of movement are guaranteed and no one may be subjected to torture or to any kind of inhuman or degrading punishment.The death penalty is prohibited.

Amendment IV

Search, detainment or arrest of a person shall be allowed only in the cases and under the procedure provided by law.Arrest shall be made under a warrant that is issued by a judge, for a maximum period of twenty days. The period of arrest may be extended only by a decision of the court.

Amendment V

Any person has the right do whatever he wishes of himself with the condition that by doing this he does not cause an infringement upon the freedom and rights of others, on public order, morals or laws.

Amendment VI

Secrecy of postal communications,as in letters or telegrams, of telephone conversations
