With this exercise, I agree partially with the scores. We have five senses and if I am correct this test only focuses on three, seeing, hearing, and touch. The sense of smell and taste play into the learning aspects as well. With certain jobs, smell is important and well as with taste. Smell for instance is important for firemen who investigate suspicious fires. If they smell gasoline, for instance they might note that the fire was caused by gasoline. The sense of taste is important to someone who maybe analyzes wine. A red wine definitely tastes different from a white wine. Now granted these two sense are not necessarily used in the learning environment every time those senses are important as well.

I agree with the score for the sense of sight. I am a visual person and have a tendency to draw out complex schematics as well as explanatory block diagrams. When presenting a topic to a group of people I would much rather draw the subject matter on the board than speak about it. The phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" is very true me. Being able to see how something is put together or how it works is an important part of the learning process for me.

I slightly disagree with the sense of hearing and touch. I enjoy using the sense of touch when learning. This helps me reinforce what I had learned by being able to apply the knowledge. I do not necessarily like listening to someone tell me what they think. For this reason I concentrate on taking detailed notes in my own words so that I can apply what is being taught the way I understand it. I however do enjoy a spirited discussion about subject matters I enjoy, interest me, or I have experience with. The closeness of the scores for these senses however illustrates to me that these two senses are almost equally important to me when learning.
