1. lHD financial performance shows that they have been doing this for a while and know how to sell bikes so they can make money each year. Each year their profits go up and they sell more bike. By listening to their customer they understand what they need to make and offer after market parts to make bikes one of a kind so people want them. Also each year to be able to produce more bikes and keep the operating cost down is a feat and not having it sky rocket through the roof. They have the right people to make things better each year.

2.

a. They are starting to hit a plateau where they are making a little more each year but not jumping up in the millions. That's the next market they need to attack.

d. Advertising ideas of little kids watching or going for a ride with there dad or grandpa will get it imbedded in kids heads they want to save those memories and make them believe they will be saved if they own a Harley like their dad or g-pa did. Its all about getting that next generation to remember the good times there dad and elders had on one and they to should make memories on a HD

4. HD's lack of popularity in Europe is due to the fad over there everyone wants fast sleek bikes. Harleys are slow off the get and fat and squaty. Where all the kids over there want fast now and sleek looking. In the US kids want choppers from OCC or West Coast. Harley are not the cool thing but what kids don't
