I believe that the key issue in the comic strip was Anita's decision wether to steal from her job or not steal and turn in her friend. She suspended judgment by thinking about it overnight and not coming to a decision untill the next day. I beleive that her position was based more on moral value than logic. I feel this way because logically stealing is wrong. If it was strictly a logical decision she would have immediatly reported her coworker. The fact that she waited untill the next day shows that she was morally torn between doing the right thing or stealing and letting her friend get away with it to. She took action as a result of her decision not to steal and reported her coworker.

One situation i recall in which i had to take a position was having to decide wether or not to fire a good friend of mine that worked for me. He was beginning to get very lazy at work. I expressed his lack of motivation to him and it still did not change. I suspended judgment for about a week before i made my decision. This was a moral value judgment. Because logically he should have been let go sooner but the fact that we were good friends outside of work made it hard for me to make my decision. Ultimately i made the decision to end his employment and conveyed why. It ended up ok in the end though because we are still good friends. This has helped me realize that i should not mix my personal life with work. I will not hire friends or family anymore.
