Many people take their childhood years for granted. If I could choose a time to return to in my past, I would go back to the age of four years old. At that age, everything was so east and I had no stress at all. When I was four, I used to have people pick up after me, take naps whenever I wanted, and living carefree. Now all of t hat has changed.

I use to love playing with my toys. I had so many of them, and all I did was play. I never had to worry about school, work, or money. My only concern was where Barbie and Ken were getting married. I played with my toys everyday, the only problem was that I never put them back when I was done playing with them. I left them everywhere; on the floor, tables, and even under the bed. I never picked up my toys; my mom always did it for me. If I left all my stuff scattered everywhere she would yell at me and I would end up tripping. The point is when I was younger; I didn't have to pick up my stuff, now I do.

When I was younger, I used to get tired very often so my mom would let me take naps, and when we were in school, we were allowed to take naps. Now I never have any time to take a nap. I am always busy and never have time. At school we can't take naps because we should be getting enough sleep at home. Taking a nap helps your memory and you're able to function better.

As a child, I remembered living carefree, meaning I never had anything to stress about. My only worries were my toys and my naps. I always just had fun. Now that I am older have a lot more stress, such as school, work and money issues. School for a child consisted of coloring, counting, and reading. My only work as a child was to play with my toys and color within the lines. I certainly would rather do that than do homework and presentations.

Being a child has many advantages. I would gladly go back to being a child just so I could have someone pick up after me. I could take naps whenever I felt burnt out or tired.
