Introduction

Most likely, anyone in this audience has been annoyed by a cell phone at least once in their life. My personal pet peeves are those who answer ringing cell phones in the movie theatres and those who insist on sharing their suspenseful conversations with the rest of the world. It is important that all of us obtain some knowledge about cell phone etiquette before the problem gets even worst than it already is. The truth is that technology is developing and newer more annoying traits will arise. The time is now, for social order to be created out of this cell phone madness. My topic for this speech was influenced by what I witness everyday around my peers. Therefore in my speech, I will share with you the amount of knowledge I gained about cell phone etiquette. By doing so, I hope you will have a better understanding of this issue. I will accomplish this by discussing three major points that make good cell phone etiquette: one is the definition of cell phone etiquette and what causes this cell phone madness. Two are the suggestions to resolve this cell phone madness and three is the benefits of knowing cell phone etiquette.

A. Cell phone etiquette' is a term for the conventions of politeness recognized when using cell phones, mobile phones or smart phones.

B. Cell phones have had a huge effect in our society, its changing us but what is causing all this madness.

A. Rules about speaking in public

i. Don't do it when people cannot escape from your conversation

ii. Don't wear earpiece when not on the phone

iii. Areas considered rude to talk.
