It answers many common questions the public has about our government and is a very useful resource for all. It gives people the opportunity to do many time consuming objectives in a fast and easy way. This website is a key ingredient to a successful relationship between the public and the government.

To start off with the first time you visit the website it instantly attracts you with its patriotic colors red, white, and blue. The website then gets your attention with its easy clickable bar tabs for certain age groups. It has tabs for kids, parents, seniors, military veterans, Americans abroad and more audiences. This shows that the website is really trying to reach out to all people. Another really great aspect of the website is the fact that you can get it translated into Spanish. It also has other languages too. This is great since America is such a melting pot. It really shows that the government is going beyond expectations for all Americans of every culture.

The kids site linked to USA.gov is quite amazing its educational and fun. This is great for kids especially in the age group of elementary age children. Many young children barely know the presidents name. if teachers would use this site to help get young children involved it would have many benefits. Especially since many young children are just as familiar with the internet as adults. I really enjoyed the way the site lays out career choices for kids of all ages. I think it is important for children to get an idea of an occupation in

their head while they are young. It gives them something to strive for when they get older and hopefully some of them will follow their child hood dreams. I was very impressed with

the kids site and could personally stay on this part for hours.

Another really great thing about the site is the get it done section. It offers easy access for things such as registering to vote, apply for student aids, contact government officials and over a hundred more online services. This is a great way for Americans to get instant gratification. Considering Americans love instant gratification this does a great service for them. Many American would not even know where to begin to look to find most of these online services but this website makes it nice and easy even for the slower population.

This website also offers contact information every where you go. This is a great service to the population because you get to have your questions answered immediately. Its really fantastic that you can have a web chat, phone chat, or in person chat. This shows the people that our government really cares about how they feel and that they will make themselves accessible. It makes Americans feel closer to their government. This reminds me of FDRs fireside chats in which he really made the Americans feel as if he were right there with him. Many people believe today that the government will not really help. These people are very misinformed and this website proves that.

All though this website has many amazing attributes there are a few negative ones as well. Majority of people find the government to be quite frankly boring. This website is not one I would stay on for hours. I honestly think that if they jazzed it up with some more pictures people would stay more interested in the site. A little music might not hurt the

website . These things are very small compared to the overall website but could possibly work to the sites advantage of making it more interesting and fun to the American public. People seem to pay attention to pictures more than to words. I believe picture would be a great idea for this site so that people can easily see what is going on.

The website sometimes offers to much information. Things that you do not really care to or want to know about. I think that if the website was more to the point it would make people like it better. Sometimes to much information can be a bad thing and in this situation I think there is a lot to look at. This is why they might be able to break it down a little more and keep it simple. People relate to simple things much better than they relate to difficult things. Its like a doctor talking to a patient you have to eliminate the medical jargon to get your point across to the average American. I believe this website should eliminate some of their jargon so that the average American can get it.

I honestly could not find many negative things about this web site. I feel it is pretty proficient in the job it is doing. The pros definitely outweigh the cons in this website. My favorite part was the kids section because it was fun and educational. I really think the overall site is a bit boring. I understand it has to be traditional but it is probably the only thing I would change. The site in its self is a great resource for the American public. It provides so much knowledge that you can not get all in one place. All in all I would say it is the top government website with the most information that exists on the internet today. If more websites like this existed it would make everyone’s life a little bit easier. I am very excited that I now have this site at the tips of my fingers. To really test the website I decided to ask it a question and see what It came up with this is my question
