A Tree in the Beach Park

     Being  a small tree en the mifdle of the Beach Park is a great challenge. I grew up in this park many years ago. In fact, I was born four centuries ago. When I was smaller than know, I was scarted, because I felt alone in the middle of a big park, surraounded by big tres. Then I grew up and  I get stronger. I began to meet a lot of friends, all of them look such diferent, and also they talked differnt languages.

     At first, I didn´t talk  to much with them, because it was hard to me to undestand them. But then I tried to lisened carfully and also speak more and more. With the time, I had made many firends in the park. Nota ll of them were nativesof Boulder. Some friends came from different  countries. They had traveled miles away to arrived  in Colorado.

     It´s wonderful living in this place, all around me is kind and beautiful. The green grass cover my foot, and protec my roots of the dogs. My foot is a confortable  bed for the people thar enjoy the  great shadow I gave to them.

     Each dawn give me the opportunity to begin a new beginning since zero. I love the shinny sun when kisses my leaves and nourish my branches for becoming stronger. Also the fantastic and subtle smell of the aromatic flowers surrounding the park give me the sense of calm, to build a strong heart and a solid soul. So, when the authum arrive, the rain and the strenghth of the wind hit my entered body and my leaves fall down, I will be calm and prepared for the freezing winter coming soon.  

     Finally, at the end of the day, the shadows drawing under me, let me know that the moon will be comming soon, and the time to rest,  will let my mind to dream again.
