The French and the Russian revolutions are very similar and there are too many differences in the American Revolution to group them all together. The following information will prove that the French and the Russian revolutions are similar. Both of these revolutions occurred mainly due to two main reasons. Both of these revolutions were the direct results of bad leadership and a bad economy. These two reasons along with other factors caused the revolutions. The French and the Russian revolutions had a worldwide impact.
For example, the French Revolution encouraged revolts across Europe. Furthermore, the Great Fear was a desperate time in France. In these times, rumors spread that attacks were being made on villages and towns, and that the government troops were seizing peasant crops. All of these rumors caused peasants to attack the homes of nobles, set fire to old manor records, and steal grain from storehouses. Also, the Paris Commune replaced the royalist government of the city. It could organize whole neighborhoods for protests or violent actions to advance the revolution. Some newspaper and political clubs, who grew everywhere, ordered an end to the monarchy and spread outrageous stories about the royal family and members of the court. In addition to reasons of how these revolutions had a worldwide impact, the Soviet Union supported revolts in many lands and became a model for other communist governments.
Both revolutions also caused many people to die. For instance, French revolutionaries executed thousands and took over the lands of the Church and the aristocracy. Also, in Russia, Stalin seized the lands of the peasant masses and his policies cause millions of deaths.
