When asking the question whether Wal-Mart is good for America, you have ask your self what America was made of. It was made by a group of people who were escaping religious persecution. They wanted the right to make their own decisions in a world that was full of different beliefs and ways of life. Wal-Mart threatens that way of life that in which this great nation was formed.

Consumers are feeding the beast that is Wal-Mart. The beast is greedy and has the power to change the world as we know it. America is formed by people with big ideas and even bigger dreams. Its enormous appetite is consuming small business and taking huge chunks out of big business. I am one of the millions of people that are to blame for this rich and powerful company. We as customers are so fascinated with the thought of dropping prices, that we make it the only place we shop. It captures our eyes that we can come to a place to shop for groceries while getting your oil changed, we can't even take a minute to look at the big picture. We must look ahead into the future and ask what will become of a nation that is totally dependent on this one stop shop. One day Wal-Mart could be the only place we have to shop. If they were to raise their prices at that point, we would have no choice but to pay them. We would be totally defenseless and then where would we be. The world would be ran by Wal-Marts and we would just be living in it.

The company itself is genius. Wal-Mart knows the needs and wants of the consumer like no other before it, and if it has its way, there wouldn't be any after it. That has led them to be the biggest company in the world with the most They have the smartest inventory system that allows them to showcase what is selling the best, eliminate what isn't, and provide them information to know everything about each item. They have joined with the biggest fast food industry by adding McDonalds to there stores. Now you can order a happy meal for your kids while you're checking out at the register. You might think that Wal-Mart suppliers may be reaping
