Beauty. Is it really in the eye of the beholder; Not in today's society. There seems to be an issue with society today, we define beauty as: one race, one color, one size, and one shape; when really beauty comes in all shapes, colors, sizes, and races. Society allows the media to say what beauty is and what it is not, but as a society we shouldn't allow this. They have made some of us feel ugly or overweight this is not how anyone should feel about themselves. We should all feel confident about who we are and what we look like. The saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder is useless magazines & television shows use this saying all the time , but yet do you see a "fat" or "ugly" girl on the cover of their magazine. Kind of makes you wonder why? and how? society came to be this way.
