What is a relationship? A relationship is built upon the understanding between two people. It goes beyond casual acquaintances and evolves into an experience of sharing and gaining an understanding of each other. A relationship is having the ability to empathize things through another person's eyes. It allows you to feel for each other and present a certain amount of synergy between the people involved in a relationship. To get in a relationship is easy, but to keep it alive is much harder, however there are always some ways to make it last longer and live happily ever after. A relationship is normally based on love, trust, and respect. It can also be defined as how you interact with someone, your view of him or her, their view of you and how this affects the way you deal with each other. It is when two people are completely open with each other about every aspect of their lives with no fear of being judged. It is the one person you can cry in front of without having to worry if he/she thinks you are weak. A relationship without love is like a shepherd without sheep. To show their love and respect for each other partners should remember their special occasions, anniversaries, and birthdays. Trust is a very important part of a relationship. It is one of the most vital aspects of a relationship. If trust is not there then you are into something wrong, which will not work. Knowing that you have someone to protect you from harm's way; knowing that someone will be there 100%; feeling safe with that person; proud of being with them; sharing your hopes and dreams together means trusting and loving someone. Trust brings respect in a relationship. Without trust, there is no respect and in that case, even if you love a person, the relationship will not last forever. Partners should respect each other, by feeling free to express their opinion and decide together. There is no ideal or perfect relationship but you have to hope for the best. One should learn to trust
