Actress, songwriter, movie star, and legends are nouns that describe a person. Adam Levine and Brandon Heath are defined as singers and songwriters. Adam Levine and Brandon Heath have different backgrounds and musical styles that influence different people in different ways but they both continue to give back to others in the world.

Brandon and Adam have very different backgrounds. Before Brandon became a Grammy- nominated contemporary Christian artist, Brandon Heath spent his childhood years in Nashville, Tennessee. Brandon received a guitar as a Christmas gift at the age of 13, supplementing his musical efforts by performing in a school choir. (MyPlay) Adam on the other hand is also a Grammy Award winning lead singer of band Maroon 5. Adam was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and began playing music with his junior- high friends guitarist. He moved to attend Five Towns College in New York. “Levine would later say that living in New York had a large impact on his musical point-of-view.” (A&E Television Networks) They both started performing in their high school years that led them to become famous singers that are well known in the music industry.

Adam and Brandon have influenced several people with their music. Adam has impacted those who love hip- hop music. However, Brandon Heath has inspired those who prefer to listen to Christian music. They both affect people by pouring their heart and soul into their music, as you can see in their actions. Heath has stated, “When I listen to a song, I really want the lyrics to actually mean something.” (MyPlay) They prove to their peers and fans that dreams and goals can and will come true with lots of effort. Brandon and Adam each have different music styles. Brandon Heath is more contemporary, whereas, Adam Levine is more up beat with his hip-hop music.
