The website I choose to critique is pet-abuse.com. The creator and writer of this website is Alison Gianotto. I believe that it is updated daily, because on the very top it states the date and tells you the news for today. Pet-abuse.com is a site that is suppose to help bring awareness to animal cruelty. Their intended goal is to show people that animal abuse is a widespread problem. Even though this is a great site, I don't believe that it should be viewed by anyone under the age of eighteen. This website offers a lot of useful information about animal abuse; the website has many pictures and videos, and is very well structured.

I think that this website tries t o target an older audience. Even though the website has a lot of pictures and videos I think that it uses a lot of big words that may be hard to understand, and the pictures and videos can be a little disturbing. When looking at the pictures on this site I think that you should be a little older and mature, because most of the pictures are very graphic.

One of my favorite characteristics of this website is it has the latest news on animal abuse. If you want to know what's going on across the globe about animal abuse I suggest you use this site. This site contains news from all over the world, and talks about every type of animal you can think of. I think this a great feature to have on a website because it will usually be reliable information. The news they use is also current and older articles, it could date back two years ago. So if you wanted information on a court case two years ago you can just look it up on this site.

Another good characteristic of this website is that it uses videos and pictures as a source of information. I think that this is a good way to come across to the people that view this website. When you view a picture or a video you can actually see and feel the emotion in the animals you are viewing. It may seem sad to see animals abused but this website shows you the truth about abused
