Global Communications is a telecommunications company that is feeling the frustration of its stockholders due to the falling price of its stock. In the last three years the stock has fallen from $28 to $11. Due to the competitive nature of the telecommunication business Global Communications, like many other companies is trying to find its way back to being a profitable business. The executive committee for this company has a challenge ahead in dealing with the many different aspects of the business. The committee will have to re structure the companies value statement and try not hurt the trust it has built with the employees and the Union over the years with the changes they will be implementing. They have had a solid set of company values over the years, but with this any plan or any changes the company will make they will have to re gain the employees and the Unions trust and loyalty. The changes the executive committee wants to make will have a major impact on several divisions within the company. The decisions made will affect the employee’s, the stockholders, the Union and other divisions of the company in other countries as well. In order to implement any changes in the company structure the executive committee will have to use effective communication of all changes being made. Global Corporation can re define the values of the company and effectively and in a positive manner get the word out to the employees, so there is not a negative impact on the employee. If the committee utilizes sound decision making and communicates effectively with all parties involved in the changes to be made the company could effectively show a profit in the coming months and years.
