        According to the economic survey of 2070-71 done by Ministry of Finance (MoF),- “the disposable income has been increasing with the increasing remittance inflow. Such income is estimated to grow by 20.4 per cent to Rs. 2,652.17 billion in current fiscal year 2013/14, which is 137.5 percent of GDP of the same fiscal year. Nepalese per capita GDP is estimated to have reached at Rs. 69,919 in current fiscal year, which is equivalent to US $703. The structure of Nepalese economy has been changing gradually. Contribution of agriculture and industry sectors to GDP showed a declining trend while that of services sector showed the opposite. From the sectoral perspective, the contribution of primary, secondary and tertiary sector contribution to nominal GDP are estimated to remain at 33.7 percent, 14.1 percent and 52.3 percent respectively. While classifying GDP into agriculture and non-agriculture sectors, contribution of the agriculture sector showed declining trend while the non-agriculture sector showed the opposite. Contribution of the agriculture sector to GDP at current prices stood at 37.4 percent in FY 2001/02, while it has come down to 33.1 percent in current fiscal year 2013/14.” We should take good look at these factors before starting our venture.

        People around the valleys are from multiple cultures. Being a farming venture, it is more likely that the products of the bros farm will be favored by most of the customers. Many other farms uses different types of new technologies to make their farming works easier and comfortable. These machines and tools will be used in the farm as well.  

Marketing Plan

Services

        Services provided from the farming will include different organic vegetables as well as milk, egg, goat meat and chicken. The meat and chickens will be fresh as well. With these organic vegetables and the fresh meats the customers will be satisfied and healthy.

Distribution

          As the nepalese people are fond of goat meat and they are preferred in most of the restaurants and the parties as well, the products will be distributed to different meat shops as well as some direct connection will be made with restaurants as well as catering services in the near future.

Industry

        The farm house is just at the right place to start the venture. There is abundance of greenery in the location which will be suitable for the grazing of the cattles. Also the water is available everytime as there is a watersource near the location. With this there is a proper environment for the vegetables to grow as the climate here is also well.

Customers

        Bro’s farm product are targeted to middle-level families as well as the restaurants and catering services. Meat items are loved by most of the people and also the vegetable items are cooked regularly in nepali household. At the initial phase of the venture these products will be provided to the customers nearby the place and with time as the farm grows and the product volume increases it will be widely distributed to the wholesalers as well.

Competition

        Currently there are plenty of farming business in the market. One of the major strengths of these farming are they have been running for the years. To compete with them our farm will be dooing a continuous marketing research to learn about their strengths and weaknesses. Similarly a proper branding of  the Bro’s farm will be done while providing the products so that the name ‘Bro’s Farm’ will be known to many customers. With branding the people will be get to know about the farm and it will give opportunity for the Bro’s farm to foster in the current market.
