  1. Conagra Brands has many products, and therefore has many suppliers. On the brand’s website is their Qualification for Supplier Diversity, which means that the brand prioritizes minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses and LGBT-owned businesses. They also source from small businesses and small disadvantaged businesses. Their products are mostly food products, and therefore many of their suppliers are in the agriculture industry.

  1. Conagra has locations in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Their headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois, and they have a main office in Omaha, Nebraska. Their manufacturing facilities are throughout the United States. The company has more than 51 brands. Because the company has so many retailers of its products, the company requires communications experts, brand management
  1. Outbound Logistics
  1. Conagra’s biggest customer is Walmart. Along with Walmart, Conagra sells to many other big chain grocery stores. Conagra also has a commercial foods product line that is used in commercial kitchens and food manufacturing. Conagra has a large sales department and has a 100-day training program to ensure that the company’s salespeople are up to company standards.
  1. Marketing and Sales
  1. Part of Conagra’s marketing is maintaining their image as a sustainable and diverse business. Sales depend on large corporations, commercial businesses and small businesses. Marketing teams focus on branding products.
  1. Development
  1. The company sells and acquires smaller companies on a regular basis. When a company is not profiting, Conagra is known to rebuild and revamp or sell the company. Because Conagra has so many big-name brands, the company is generally not at risk of a collapse in demand and development.
  1. Support Activities
  1. Research
  1. Conagra does research on the current market demand, on customer trends, the quality of their food and the quality of their sources or suppliers.
  1. Sustainability
  1. Conagra’s dedication to sustainability impacts their production every step of the way. Their suppliers must be using sustainable practices, the suppliers’ products must be transported sustainably and then Conagra must manufacture the products sustainably.
  1. Human Resources
  1. Human Resources at Conagra is focused on ensuring the satisfaction and engagement of employees in their work at the company. Human Resources employees are responsible for the hiring process and mediating between departments.
