Paracale Fire Station Background

The site in Meralco Avenue, Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City where Fire District IV stood was donated by ORTIGAS and Company Inc. on the 13th day of December 1977 to the Philippine Constabulary - Integrated National Police [PC-INP](the integration of Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology). The granting of the lot was represented by Mr. Joaquin Ramirez Jr. of ORTIGAS and Company Inc. and Hon. Juan Ponce-Enrile from the Republic of the Philippines by presenting the Deed of Donation to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

It was then known “Meralco Fire Sub-station” (under the command of Pasig Central Fire Station) until June 13, 1979 when Lt. Colonel Rodolfo Villavicencio assumed post as District Fire Marshal was later changed to “Fire District IV Headquarters”.
