A Review For “The Lottery”

At the beginning of this article writer describe very thing all very quiet and peaceful, writer use stones as a key all the way through in this story. We can find “Stones” are fulfilling paragraphs and appear many times. It is just boys are playing as usually and writer want to create a peaceful imagination on reader’s mind. But we will find out what are the stones for at the last paragraph. It was weapon use for people to kill their neighbor.

This article was with uneasy and creep ending. After read the story we will found this article contain ironic effect and contrast. No one knows about this practice is started from when; no one would doubt. They just ignorance blindly followed. The villagers they are seeking the unknown pleasure from in such of a cruel and raging action.
