Proud of Being a Capiznon

What makes you proud of being a Capiznon?

        There are so many reasons why I should be proud being a Capiznon. Capiz is the best province Panay Islands has. This is the reason why most of the people would like to go and visit the place because of the rich natural resources which I think every Capiznon should be proud of. Besides, Capiz was awarded by the national g78overnment as one of the most “peaceful province” in the national level and it was also awarded as the “Cleanest City” in the whole Region VI before.

        Aside from these, Capiznon are hospitable, loving and caring individuals. Because of their generosity and being humble, tourists, guests, and other benefactors are coming over because they believe in the culture and gestures of a true Capiznon. Similarly, the beautiful scenery of the place attracted them most being the “Seafood’s Capital” of the Country.

        Moreover, being a Capiznon is a great privilege since most of the outstanding politicians and famous individuals are coming from this province. To name some: “Senator Mar Roxas” who runs for President of the Republic of the Philippines is a true blooded Capizeño. Aside from this, there were some outstanding individuals who comes from this province who also excelled in the field of music i.e, Jovita Fuentes and the like.

        Furthermore, in terms of academics, there were brilliant people that province of Capiz had ever produced. Some of them are now holding high ranking positions both in the national, regional, and local levels. Capiz has been known because of the achievements they got in their respective fields of endeavor. Because of their achievements and honor they gave to Capiz, I am also inspired to be one of them in the future, that is; to pursue my dreams and aspirations in order that my province of “Capiz” should be proud of me someday.
