World War 2 Case

world war 2 was the biggest war in the history of the word. It all started when adolf hitler took over as the fuhrer for the Germans, who is the whole reason this war came about. When he started taking over land, no one would really step in to stop him until it was too late, and then countries attacked each other one after another, resulting in mass chaos. The US had remained out of this war until December 7, 1941, when Japanese soldiers decided to attack the pearl Harbor in the US, prompting our immediate entrance into the war. When we entered the war, we were on the allied side, fighting against the Germans and the Japanese. When we were fighting against the Japanese we used a method known as island hopping to try to defeat the British, which meant taking over all of the little islands of Japan to gain access to the mainland of Japan. In the end, to end the war against Japan we dropped to devastating atomic bombs on the Japanese, one in Nagasaki, and the other one in Hiroshima, killing over 50000 people. That was the day that the world learned not to mess with us. On the European side things were going just as well, the British were being forced back in both fronts, and in december of 1944, Hitler launched one final offensive that was the battle of the Bulge, and although Hitler made a valiant effort, it was simply not enough, as he was out manned and overpowered. Pretty soon, the Germans and Italy and Japan surrendered, one after another, as Hitler surrendered, he decided to commit suicide, sp he wouldn't ave t have suffered his fate most likely.
