Reflective Report

My name is Shannon from section 5 and my group members are Cynthia Sam Rodriguez, Lee Chia Wei and Esther Chua Tian Sian. After reading the topic and assignment given to us, we found it challenging as none of us are good in making or taking videos. Personally, what I felt went well was that during the filming process, we managed to film it without wasting much time at all. There weren’t much conflict within the group and we found a few key points to emphasize on at the end of the day. The members were sporting with their acting.

What I felt didn’t go as well as I hoped would be the planning. As this is a group project with only 4 members, I expected a group planning for the entire video. However only Crystal and I met up for the planning. It took us quite a while to accomplish our tasks but we managed to achieve it at the end of the day. During filming I noticed that not all the members were focusing that much in our progress. Crystal was editing the videos and Cynthia and I focused a lot on the filming as we wanted to finish it as soon as we can but also make it look as good as possible.

Throughout this task, I have learnt that team work is the key ingredient to a group assignment. I realize that focus from every member of the group is very important to be able to make this video a good one. I learn that although I am a business student, knowledge of information technology is very important as well. And most importantly is to constantly be prepared. I was not prepared for a video assignment so this was quite a challenge but I managed to get off my comfort zone and started getting on the computer to do my research on mobile commerce.

I feel proud that I was able to do this project with my friends. I am thankful that I had a partner to help with the planning.
