Oprah is your average WOMEN with the same

Problems some WOMEN face from day to day.

Oprah spent six years of her life with grandparents,

She later moved with her mother, where then she

Faced sexual abuse by men an sadly to day some

Of the were relatives. As a teenager her promiscuity

Resulted in pregnancy where the premature baby

Died two weeks after birth. After most of her tragic

Experiences she moved with her father. She went on

To a career in News Casting, Television an even Acting.

College Life:

Oprah began college at Tennessee State University, which most of the student body were African American. With all her accomplishments from winning prizes, radio news casting jobs. With all this she had set high expectations for herself. She wanted to succeed in life by going to college and trying to make something of herself. Oprah wanted the best she thrived for the “BEST”. Oprah new she wanted to be someone who makes a difference to other people not just herself.

Career Starter:

Weekend reporter/newscaster at WTF-TV first WOMEN hired as and anchor person. Her start off salary was $15,000 a year! Shocking to her but also so thrilled. At the same time wanting to pursue her dream she also wanted to help society even the world, she wanted to share her upcoming blessings.
