Goneril (TAPE A)

I am king lear, the only king lear to ever be put onto this planet, I run a kingdom and also have beautiful daughters that stand by my side, and especially the beautiful goneril.

Goneril you were my eldest daughter. After professing your deep love to me and receiving half of my land, you betrayed me which was so heartbreaking and you would soon stab me in the back to the fullest extent. So Goneril, my daughter welcome to your tape. Your expressions of love are extreme and reveal the inherent dishonesty of your nature. Goneril you revealed your true character when you defied the hierarchy of nature, which calls for daughters to respect and honor their father, and lays the groundwork for the torment you set in motion for the remainder Throughout most of the time you had my power you took advantage of what you so did no rightfully own. Once a man came in between the strong front of you and your sister you were willing to lose the battle, and thus the land. I use to say quite frankly my life was just too good for me, and I couldn’t have dreamed for it to be any better, but just days after it totally flipped on me and I lost everything, my relationship, the daughter who truly loved me and as well my of my life. You lead me to believe that your love for me extends beyond any evidence of poor behavior, and so ultimately, you are responsible for my actions, having earlier endorsed them. You were just so sweet right? Wrong.
