Romeo

Romeo is a young kid that is a little confused. He first is in love with a girl but once he sees another one he is all of a sudden in love. He is immature as well; he even jumped to the conclusion that he wanted to get married the next day after meeting Juliet. By the end of the story he is so in love he is willing to kill him self for someone he really loves.

* PG.119 63-66

"Tybalt, the reason that I have to love thee

Doth much excuse the appertaining rage

To such a greeting. Villain am I none.

Therefore farewell. I see thou knowest me not."

This is when Tybalt looks for Romeo so that they can fight. But Romeo is smart and thinks about it and he refuses the opportunity to get in a fight.

* PG.141 13-15

"Ha, banishment? Be merciful, say 'death,'

For exile hath more terror in his look,

Much more than death. Do not say 'banishment.'"

Romeo has no idea how lucky he is because he could have gotten hanged and killed but thankfully he is only being banished. He is very angry at the decision that they have made even though he should be happy that they are going easy on him.

* PG.227 116-120

"Come, bitter conduct, come, unsavory guide!

Thou desperate pilot, now at once run on

The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark!

Here's to my love йDrinkingщ O true apothecary,

Thy drugs are quicker. Thus with a kiss I die."

This is when Romeo finds Juliet laying down on the floor. He thinks she is dead but once Romeos decides to stab himself. A couple minutes later Juliet awakens to see Romeo dead.

Juliet

In the beginning of the story Juliet starts of as a mature girl for her age. As she grows older and she meets Romeo she starts to sink down to his immature level. She falls in love quickly and doesn't think of the consequences of it.

* PG.41 103-105

" I'll look to like, if looking liking move.

But no more deep will I endart mine eye

Than your consent gives strength to make йitщ fly."

In this passage Juliet is acting like a grown adult. She doesn't let anyone specially Romeos feelings get in the way.

* PG.71 36-39

" O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?

Deny thy father and refuse thy name,

Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,

And sails upon the bosom of the air."

In this passage Juliet acts desperate over Romeo. She is already obsessed with him after knowing him a couple of hours. This is when she starts to fall to Romeos level of immaturity.

* PG.183 78-90

"O, bid me leap, rather than marry Paris,

From off the battlements of any tower,

Or walk in thievish ways or bid me lurk

Where serpents are...

Or bid me go into a new-made grave

And hide me with dead man in his...."

In this passage Juliet is falling in love so fast with Romeo that she doesn't want to marry Paris any more. She only knows Romeo for no more than 2 days and already wants to get married.

Tybalt

Tybalt is a guy that likes to fight a lot. He is always going around looking for trouble and he doesn't care who he is going to go up against he will get into a fight with anyone.

* PG.13 71-73

"What, drawn ant talk of peace? I hate the word

As I hate hell, all Montegues, and thee.

Have at thee, coward!"

This happened when Benvolio tried to call him down. But Tybalt was too much of a hard head to listen or even understand what Benvolio was trying to say. He would try to act all hard to scare everyone but he was just going around looking for trouble.

* PG.55 61-67

"This, by his voice, should be a Montague

Fetch me my rapier, boy.

What, dares the slave

Come hither covered with an antic face

To fleer and scorn at our solemnity?

Now, by the stock and honor of my skin,

To strike him dead I hold it not a sin."

This shows how impatient Tybalt is to get in a fight with Romeo already even though he hasn't done anything wrong yet. He is already spotting him from a distance but luckily his uncle stops him.

* PG.119 67-68

"Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries

That thou hast done me. Therefore turn and draw."

This is when Romeo goes looking for Tybalt because he was trying to get revenge on him for killing Mercutio. But when he got there Tybalt was already expecting him so Tybalt challenged him to a fight till death.

Benvolio

Benvolio is good man through out the whole story. But
