Bullying

Pulling someone down and making them feel like they are nothing will never help one reach the top. The topic I am going to be discussing is bullying in schools and how it affects the students lives. Bullying is a very serious, popular, and damaging disease among all the schools students today. Many parents, teachers, and administers do not know really know how big and serious the bullying problems are getting. If you were to ask a student at the school about bullying a lot would be scared to even admit to an adult that they were either being bullied or knew about it, in fear of being bullied themselves or getting bullied more for ratting them out for it. Students need to realize that authority is their at the schools to help you learn and succeed and if somebody is holding those important skills from you the authority can help prevent that from happening.

One of most important times in an individual's life is, without a doubt, their school years. School is a place where children and teenagers socialize, obtain different social skills, and prepare themselves for their future. Students should be able to come to school and want to be there without fear, pain, or sadness. School is also a time where students are trying to figure themselves out which is a huge vulnerable time period for them, positively and/or negatively. Students believe that since bullying is a recurring thing they begin to think it’s completely normal, therefore they do nothing about it. This should never be the case. There are various types of bullying experienced in schools among the students like: teasing, taunting, threatening, hitting, and embarrassing other in a public place.
